The balletfoundation exists to promote the arts in every racial, economic and geographic area of our potential reach. We want everyone that wants to train in dance to have the opportunity!
Each year we have families that apply for scholarship due to economic/job hardship. We strive to keep all dancers dancing - no matter what is going on in parent’s lives. Many times a lost job, divorce or illness can make it impossible for a family to keep their child in class- The Scholarship Fund allows us to keep dancers in class- as if nothing has happened. We believe that there are far more important things than money - consistency, teacher influence, art, hard work, loyalty and “normal” are things children need- especially when things are in a bit of flex at home- We want dance to be a place they can just dive into training and not worry.
